SPN rewatch

You know, like the first time around, I still find myself surprised sometimes when the boys don't kiss. I don't mean I'm watching and marveling at their get-a-room-iness. I just watch, and follow the plot, and they look at each other or lean into each other and it's completely natural and I don't really notice it, and they *don't kiss*, and that is when I notice something is weird.
This isn't even fandom's influence , I experienced that watching before joining fandom.

And I have to say that J2 can be "just" friends 5evah, but the thing sizzling between them involves such physical desire, it's not just pleasant, it's desire, it's a passion, of whatever kind it is. ETA: I mean, they're really into touching each other, they want it, they're invested in it, they keep doing it, that's there. Regardless of why they're like that, they are. And that's beautiful and not normative.

I do think that they have the most intense natural chemistry I've ever seen with two people, both on the show and in real life. Robbie Thompson told a friend of mine at Leaky Con last week that it was "a miracle of God" lol

Yeah, the way they keep touching each other - it's so moving and so - cool, really, not a lot of guys are so openly tender with each other, or so into touching one another in a way that's just loving. The whole thing about the relationship being the heart of the show is so true. they just got this shining piece of beauty, serendipity, so lucky, I don't want to imagine the show with actors who had just normal chemistry, it would seriously not be what it is (and probably not be on the air anymore).

Also - Robbie :D
My favorite of the remaining writers, despite his issues with continuity :)
