I would keep going and get another job to supplement. Like, it won't be easy, but if it's what you want to do, maybe it's worth waiting out? College jobs are bloody hard to get and maintain. I know a woman who worked for 16 years part time in a college because they were never looking to full time hire, but she made a living out of it. I dunno, though. The economy sucks right now as well. It's all up in the air. Hang in there! Nothing's ever certain!
