When Metatron says the Mark is Lucifer-level magic, and you can't exactly ask him about it, Cas shoots a look at Sam. Why? Is Cas thinking about somehow contacting Lucifer? Or does he think Sam will?

But what would Lucifer want as trade? Or could Sam compel him the same way he did Metatron, put Lucifer in a vessel, steal his grace, and then torture him as a mortal?

Sam would trade himself, of course, bringing forth season 11. Dean will maybe switch places with him or free \lucifer in \n attempt to get Sam's soul out....? Perhaps that is the place the demons killed by the knife go, too? Meg, Ruby....??
