Hm, I adore so many things in fandom! Probably the best part is the people I cherish that I got to meet, and probably would not have gotten to meet otherwise.... Another amazing, life changing thing here is learning and changing perspectives about my own life. People from fandom are so often personally supportive of what I go through, which kinda blows my mind - I am not used to being treated this way - and also, I have been fortunate enough to learn and get a whole lot of perspective about my life through reading fic and discussing characters. It is so validating, or on other occasions it really gets me to think and reconsider - things as ingrained as social structures or my own relationships in my family.

Er, the return of SPN for season 11. My life is not at the best place right now, though I am not sure it will get significantly better within months, but I hope it gets better enough for that to be something I would want to look forward to. I am hoping time moves slowly and it becomes later once I am more ready for it.
