I'm glad you have them back now :-) Yeah, internet stuff goes away. I discovered a couple of months ago that an information site I put up was gone, could have been gone for years and I didn't even realize it.
Re caring - yes! I'm so thankful for the conventions, and to all the people uploading recordings of them... It makes fandom so much more interesting, full, satisfying... I remember the first starting to watch those vids - I was resolved not to get into the fandom (just like I was sure I wasn't gonna really be into Supernatural, and wasn't gonna like Jensen... stupid me :-) :-) ), and they were - way too delightful, interesting, intelligent, sincere... how can you stop watching something like that? :-) Even with the things they say that make me cringe sometimes. It was a done deal before I ever realized it :-)
