Well, it's pretty common - if you read dean saying "really?" or "son of a bitch", you might read it in the way you know from Dean on the show (or if you don't connect much to listening - maybe the way Dean bites his lip or such) -
then if you read "get this" or "I lost my shoe" out of context, you might still get the intonation they had/ve or you might complete "because you're my brother" -> " and I love you" - boop -

so th same, only with things from the podfics - ways the readers said things, or things being said, that stood out for some reason (can be things not related to the creation itself like the place I would usually start listening or such.... could be an emotional reason, something about the sound, or the cadence of the text.... idk! could be many reasons. Maybe even - some specific lins take me to things I experienced as I was listening, so maybe that....

I'm drifting away from the point.
The same way that I might be walking down the street and my flip flot tears and flaps off my foot, and I go "I lost my shoe " and am amused and comforted by it -
I might - say - be struggling with some self care, which yeah, is a challenge for me in more cases than I'm happy to admit - and I might remember - the intonation of some of the line, usually also the words of the line like "some shit about how Dean’s knee is sprained and he needs to stay off it, keep it elevated and ice it and maybe tell it stories and sing it songs, blah, blah, blah, more bossy, controlling stuff that Dean tunes out" from [livejournal.com profile] de_nugis's Be Mine, and that could take some of the stress out of it, cause it might e comforting or make me smile.
