I see your point, but I also see it the opposite of the way you do. I like that we get a variety of characters, even though they die. I like that Jenna's sexuality didn't have to be a Big Deal; it was just something that kind of came up, but that it DID come up because of course it would eventually. I know some fans get upset because all the people of color die, or all the women die, or all the LGBT people die, but this is Supernatural. Everyone dies. So to me, it's kind of cool that we had those people at all. And I see a throwaway line about Jenna having a relationship with a woman as being inclusive, not weird. But I'm certainly not going to tell anyone their opinion is wrong. It's just different from my own opinion, as someone who has only lived the life of my own group. (BTW, as an overweight middle-aged woman, I'm still waiting for them to come up with a heroic overweight middle-aged woman...)
