I agree (mostly) on the "wayward daughters" ep. I love Jody, as always, but the characterization of Alex was definitely lacking, and Claire continues to be difficult for me to connect with, and I was actually kinda bored? Like, I LOVED the sex ed talk at the dinner table scene, and enjoyed Sam reaching out to Claire, but I really felt like it could have been a lot better written all the way around. :/
I liked Eileen, but felt she lacked some characterization as well. Yay for solid representation and for her not A) turning out to be the villain or B) dying by the end of the ep. :P
I had completely different feelings about Mildred. I didn't feel like they were trying to say she was "creepy" at all. I found her very pretty, which might have affected my interpretation, but I felt like it was more about pointing out that people don't stop being sexual beings once they reach a certain age, and that even someone of Dean's age could find her attractive in return seemed to back up that idea. I liked that he engaged in the flirting WITH her, and yet when he showed that there were boundaries, she respected them and backed off. Overall I found the whole thing sweet, not creepy, but that was just my interpretation. *shrugs* :)
I am overall just LOVING this season, it's been great - I'm just eager to get back to the Lucifer storyline, because that's what I REALLY want to know more about right now!
