Thank you! It was awesome to write, actually. I've always wanted to write a Sam and Dean soup kitchen fic, but I'd never gotten around to it.
I'm looking at a small amount of soup kitchens in South Australia (where I live), and what they do, their organisational models and their philosophies. There's not a whole lot of work on soup kitchens out there - there are a few interesting ones from the US - so it's actually very basic in some ways, just trying to understand what soup kitchens are and how they continue to exist. It's tied in with the move towards long-term and conditional support in welfare, and how soup kitchens have avoided doing that. I'm in the process of editing, it should be ready to proof in December, and submitted in January, which is kind of awesome.
So are you doing a masters by research? What is your area? Tell me about it!
