AO3, here I come
Eeeeeeeeeeeee! Posted my first story on AO3 today, Oh, wow :D
Scary :-) Fun :-)
Since I've posted four – no, five – no, six pieces of fic in the last months, and I have probably more than ten others I've been working on, and a million bunnies - it was, perhaps, time to admit I do write fanfic :-)
I'll try to be good and update regularly, though going by my fic masterlist and my mostly-theoretical DW account – might not so much... :)
ETA, question: Is there a way to subscribe to a tag or search? Like "praise kink"? Or better yet - crossed with a fandom? Like "shotgunning"/"Supernatural"?

I use AO3 mostly as an archive/backup for when LJ implodes in the middle of the night and everything I've ever written disappears down the memory hole (and because I need it for certain challenges), but it's interesting to see what's popular and try to guess why. My sense is that fluff and M/M pwp do well, and fluffy M/M pwp does best of all--the fic I've gotten the most comments on is fluffy, porny Sassy. in general there are way fewer comments than on LJ, though, and most of the stuff I post gets none, even when it does well with the kudos. Commenting just doesn't seem to be part of the culture there.
No idea how to subscribe to a tag,but I'd totally subscribe to "shotgunning/Supernatural" if I did.
