Yeah, it was one of the weirder justifications for being a jackass. Of course, [*soapbox*] you gotta understand, the poor thing only said my trans* friend wasn't really a guy (again), and me telling him to cut it the fuck out was both mean and anti-democratic. We should all get to occasionally discuss whether or my friend's identity should be respected. The poor guy whose feelings I hurt was just defending his right to to use social structure that keep him in a powerful place in order to make sure no one else gains any power - totally acceptable! It's his birthright! [/soapbox] >
