Why would it sink any ships?! I can understand people thinking it was unkind of the show, towards shippers, was perhaps a way of negating ships, like shows sometimes do. Personally I don't read it that way, I believe they wanted to write about Cas having sex, couldn't do it with anyone who wasn't a woman, and that's all. They even did that stupid thing they think is fan service, and killed her right away. But seriously? If a person slept with a woman, he can't be in live/attracted to/interested in sharing something with a guy?! Fandom, you know better than that!!!
