Day 6: Truth or Dare or Headcanon

In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

ok, sure!
So, today is another one of those days for me that require every part of comfort and escapism I could find - so let's play Truth or Dare or Headcanon!

Rules are simple (assuming anyone actually wants to play) - someone starts by choosing one of the above. The next person gives them a question/dare/request for specific headcanon.
It can be dares like "record a short message for your followers" or headcanons like "tell us about that time your OTP went camping" - you know, stuff that is fun? And it is totally ok to decline a question etc! It's supposed to be fun!

OK, so - I will go first - and I am ok with either of the three

UNRELATED NOTE:

I owe some people replies, and intend to write them soon!
I t's not been the easiest time, but please know that I treasure your messages, please

Truth! Tell me about what happened the time the Winchesters drove two days to watch a Jayhawks game :)

Bb, thanks for this! I started replying, but it's been very long since I slept,so probably not the best time for that now....~ anyway - in case you want to participate, there is actually a game with people and stuff, actually being gamy, on Dremwidth- only if you feel like joining!!!!

Thanks for letting me know! (And hey, you're on Dreamwidth!). I may check it out in the morning. :)

I know what time it is where you are, so if you haven't slept in a long time, you really ought to get to it :)

Yeah! I assumed the "posted on Dreamwidth" links were a giveaway, but I suppose if you haven't struggles with the posting or issues of contacting people, maybe that has less meaning more easily slips by.

I'm not sure I'll stay there, but for the time, it being more active is amazing for me, I feel so isolated in so many of the fandom spaces I know, between joining late, needing trrigger warnings, not doing the required legwork on Tumblr and so forth - it so good to be bl to just randomly post something not too brilliant and actually get replies from random people sometimes. Ugh, I miss communities/forums/mailing lists. Then again, trolls are so rare when you are just talking with two close friends ;)

As for sleeping - lol, sneaky! Yeah, haven't been getting that much sleep lately

Now that you say that I do notice you've got the "posted on Dreamwidth" links--a few of my mutuals have those at the bottom of their posts, so I guess my brain just automatically filters them out. I'm happy you're finding people to engage with there! So it's really much less dead than LJ? I'm tempted by it for that reason, and because from what I hear the platform is a hell of a lot less buggy. How hard is it to attract attention--do you advertise by posting to comms like on LJ, or how do people find your posts?

I can't rally say - I've only been active there again for about a week - but for then it is all communities (the snowflake thing) - but people are very active there! Maybe after it's done, it will hibernate again, like before - maybe not!

But it's not like tumblr, the tag thing where strangers comment - at least, not that I am awared of .

As fo bugginess - idk either - but it's nice to be able to comment without loading a whole different page and back.... otoh, for me it's less comfortable to have to look up and type the html for every little thing - I don't know the longer one or the less used ones by heart, and there are no buttons for that there (the way it used to be on lj)! (though maybe images/vids yes? idk
