First off, yay talking about Rufus! I'm not exactly sure why, but I love hearing peoples' opinions on minor characters. And I like that thinking about Rufus made you more fond ofhim. Every time I'm not too into a character (like Garth, for instance) I've decided to write fic about them, and then I end up loving them.
Secondly, I really want that show or fic now, thank you for ruining my life. I love the tiny bits of their past we have been let in on, and I love how they had this tragic partnership together and how both of them somehow outlived most hunters their age. The same goes for Missouri. And I've always wanted to write (and read) fic in which Missouri plays a big part. She's out there somewhere, probably back in Lawrence still.
All that said, I'm absolutely in it for Sam & Dean ♥
