agree with everything you said. They had the chance to explore one of the thousands paths in the SPN universe and they blew it, choosing instead to BADLY retell a story that was perfect (once). I'm mad at SPN right now cause it's all pain and sorrow and OOC chars and canon-what-canon, but the reason I'm so pissed is cause I love it so much, and I want it to be good again. and sure as hell I'll keep watching until SamandDean are there, cause once SPN gets under your skin it just stays there. The spin-off was a total waste of an ep of MY show and for that I'll never forgive. *sits down next to you and hands you pie to share the sorrow* ;)
