SPN community recs?

I'm getting REALLY tired of Livejournal. I really miss having places to talk fandom , meta, character analysis, writing and so forth, with people, based on having a shared interest and not necessarily on having known each other for years. And that's not to say I don't like people or want to get to know them, I do. Really. But for now, I haven't known anybody here very long, and being the new kid sucks, particularly in this format of non-discussion.

Are there any communities that are more about discussion?
Any other platforms where that happens?
Something?

Highlights from the online Q&A with Osric Chau (Kevin Tran) and Lauren Tom (Linda Tran)

If anyone's interested, I'll try to post more exact quotes. SLIGHT SPOILERS for season 8 so far.
They're both really sweet.

Linda enjoyed being pinned to the wall by Jensen. She was excited to find out Dean was attracted to her character, less so when she realized it was a fetish. Ostric said Jensen tried out a lot of different things to say about Kevin's mom in the different takes, and that it was really hard to keep a straight face.
When asked which of the boys she feels most motherly towards (ick of a question), Lauren said that would be disturbing, since she'd then be having incestuous thoughts.

Osric addressed a gif going around, of him raising his foot while Jensen picked him up. Lauren looked at the gif and cheered something like "Aww, that's so romantic!", and won my heart. Cute and embarrassed, Osric tried to explain it was a martial arts thing, trying to keep their hips apart. Yeah.

Osric said he doesn't read fic, but his awesome roommate is a fan, and fills him in on everything. He made a joke about asking Jared what his favorite number was, and Jared saying "Seven". Clarified he'd made that up.
His roommate, by the way, is also a Doctor Who and Sherlock fan, and is trying to get him to watch.

Osric said Ian Somerhalder is hot.

I'd been saying I need a first time Sam/Dean for every time they didn't kiss, every time they looked at each other in one o those ways, every time I was somehow surprised when a scene ended with the subtext still only subtexty.

Today I was listening to fic, Dean angsting about Sam being his brother, and found myself thinking "Sheesh, dude, we know. Get over it". Perhaps I'm getting closer to closing that initial quota :-)

BtVS/Sorority Boys fic

Summary: This pairing makes so much sense to me. A first date, of sorts. Wistful mentions of riot grrrl music, teddy bears, vandalism and soup.
Warnings: Vague spoilers, mostly for BtVS
Notes: I wrote this in the few hours before the deadline for Halfamoon's very awesome, Awesome Ladies III - Podfic Anthology, ignoring things like my own exam, family, and pesky need of sleep.
