Pointless question time!

Hey!

I miss you people, don't have a lot to post - rough week, way too much boring paper writing (I'm not used to it being boring!), entire days on a bench, handwriting papers, in the stingy, sexual-harassy, way too hot park, cause the library's closed and I have nowhere to work. Ugh.

Anyway - I miss you people!
So, pointless question time!
Um, if you could change one thing in canon - not quality or such, change one element within canon, what would it be?

Or just, you know - how are you? {hugs}

We miss you, too! <33 Hopefully things level out on your end soon, the papers get interesting, and also don't have to be written in a dubiously pleasant park. :\

At the end of S6, just before Lisa's date gets killed by demons and she and Ben get kidnapped, she comes into the living room with a tall glass of beer, and gives it to Boyfriend Guy. If I had the magic power to change one thing in canon, I'd want that beer to be for her. I'm not kidding, this is my #1 thing I'd change in all billionty three hours of canon. XD IT'S LISA'S BEER.

Sexual Harassment Park sounds awful!

As far as what I'd change, I'd edit all the homophobic jokes out of "Ghost Facers." The part of that episode that was a parody of Ghost Hunters was actually really funny to me, but the weird, completely unnecessary 'no homo' kind of ruins it. Okay, maybe I'd keep, "You gotta go be gay for that poor dead intern!" It may be a gay panic joke, but it made me laugh.

Either that, or I'd keep Ruby 1.0 in season 4. I think the arc would've worked better with Katie Cassidy playing the role.

Sounds good! I can't honestly say I remember the jokes, The Ghostfacers are so not for me, I haven't been paying attention. I can relate to the "well, it made me laugh" from other things, though.

Ruby 1.0 - ooh! YES! There was something so over-the-top-trope-y in changing her hair color when she started acting evil. The third watch around I liked Gen's Ruby better than before, but somehow I just relate to Katie Cassidy's Ruby so much more. And ugh, I'd really like other people to consider her and Sam's storyline way more ambiguous.
Who would Jared marry, then, though?

The ONE thing I'd change... SAM NOT LOOKING FOR DEAN WHILE HE WAS IN PURGATORY!!!!!!!! I'll NEVER be over it, never. One scene of Sam saying he had searched everywhere, asked anyone would have been enough (like Dean in S6, while Sam was in the cage), instead of that crap we got... which is directly linked to the Amelia storyline that followed (bleah....), so it still counts as one, right?? :D

Change that and I could almost be ok (ALMOST) with EVERYONE (even rocks and stones) being FAMILY to Sam and Dean nowadays.... ^^

Why oh why is the library not ALWAYS open, it should be like dunkin donuts, I mean seriously, it only takes one person.

canon change....I've always believed in my heart of hearts Ben Braden was Dean's. It makes me feel warm insided to believe this.
Even with the memory swipe and all that, just to know there's a little piece of Dean carrying on out there, was that too much to give me.

Interesting, I would not have considered that one! I doubt they'd be able to write something like that had Ben been "real family" - not sure how Dean would deal with that, either. But I'd like to see Sam deal with it...
