Aww... They so did hook up, or at least they both knew it was on the table. Do you supposed Dean would do it cause he knew Crowley expected it, when they were starting out? Perhaps their power struggle is about Dean not putting out, among other things. I insist that I'm not convinced Dean would be invested in emotional/psychological sadism for sadism's sake, I just don't see that in him, but I do believe he might have been playing with Crowley, having sex with other people in his bed intentionally and so forth .
As for your hat, though - would that be in subtext, in canon, in fanon, headcanon or in 'written for fangirls'?
