So, I've been trying to get into Welcome to Night Vale. Listened to three episodes, and it was cool, good sense of wonder, but I'm missing some sort of something to care about. Like a relationship, a character, plot, give me something.

Can anyone rec key episodes to listen to that have that (if they exist)?

Also: "This piece is bout two brothers. One who has hit rock bottom and was given a second chance at life, and the other, who's there to support and help him on this new path".

Hi! Hope you don't mind that I came back from Fandom Snowflake to check out your DW. I don't know that I have key eps to rec, but I will say that there are definitely relationships and characters to care about, and lots of plot. If you can keep giving it a chance, I think you'll like it. I absolutely adore the show to tiny pieces, to the point where I've seen it live twice and have posters in my office. Among other fannish things :)

Actually, I am definitely on board with the things you are saying - I haven't posted here in ages (I should start again), so this post is pretty old - so I know your recommendation is a good one! It is such a good show!

And aww -so cool! What was it like to go to a live show? Did it feel different for you to get to watch (I assume?) rather than just listen?

Live shows are amazing, honestly. I wasn't sure what to expect, or if I'd even want faces put to voices, if you know what I mean. But everyone involved (especially Cecil) seemed to be having such FUN with it, and that love and joy just spilled out into the audience and created a feedback loop of positive energy.

If you ever get the opportunity, I can't recommend it enough. First one I saw was in my hometown, but I had a 4-hour drive to the second, and it was more than worth it.
