Seriously, loving the Supernatural fandom is like dating someone experienced enough to have stories from their wild past - all the things you've missed, but all the awesome stories about things that made them who they are.

obsesseddetermined and I've already gotten back about 45 GB so I'm pretty relieved that thy're once again sitting pretty on my hard drive :)no subject
I identify with this so much :-)
I haven't gone as far (no idea how to connect files, and I'm really not big with the organizing), but I have tens of GB of SN con stuff, and it is really good to know it's there *pets con stuff*.
I really want to go, but that's not going to happen in the foreseeable future (here's to a whole lot more awesome seasons and years of cons! :)), but watching the stuff people upload makes me happy :-)
Actually, not just happy - a whole range of emotions. I *care* :-) :-)
Love it.

I care too, I want to hear what they have to say because they always have something interesting to add, it's never just a simple, easy answer they always delve into the characters motivations and feelings and I love that. I remember when they were asked about what their characters thought when they first discovered Adam and hearing what they had to say, the stuff we never actually got to see on screen. That's the kind of things I love about the fact that they are willing to do so many conventions.
I've been to a couple, I was at the first Asylum, the very first Supernatural con and met Jensen and I did one a couple of years later because in the US because Jared had to cancel Asylum but it's not as easy for me to travel as it once was but I did so many BtVS cons both in the UK and abroad and loved every second of it, I highly recommend it if you get the chance one time :)

Yeah, internet stuff goes away. I discovered a couple of months ago that an information site I put up was gone, could have been gone for years and I didn't even realize it.
Re caring - yes! I'm so thankful for the conventions, and to all the people uploading recordings of them...
It makes fandom so much more interesting, full, satisfying...
I remember the first starting to watch those vids - I was resolved not to get into the fandom (just like I was sure I wasn't gonna really be into Supernatural, and wasn't gonna like Jensen... stupid me :-) :-) ), and they were - way too delightful, interesting, intelligent, sincere... how can you stop watching something like that? :-)
Even with the things they say that make me cringe sometimes. It was a done deal before I ever realized it :-)

Oh, wow, that sounds lovely <3
Tell me everything! :-)

And I can't even really tell "what if we'd met earlier" stories - we did, sort of. Was not impressed ;)
