Any other similarities?

So near the end of The Real Ghostbusters, there's a bit I'd gotten distracted from: Dean thinks his life is horrible and is miserable, and is reminded - or, I like to think, reassured - that having a brother who would die for him is something most anyone would dream of. Then it turns out the fake Dean and Sam are in love. And to them, it's completely OK, it's a good thing. It doesn't disturb them at all, including the fake-incest. They find it all desirable, even beautiful.

Dean hangs out on his own by the Impala, smiling to himself. Looks like he's feeling wholer, less broken, happier about his life. Smiles at Sam as he comes by. Which is enough on its own.

I like to think this helped him come to terms with his life, as well as with wanting Sam. I'd like to think that's when he decided to tell him.

And I'd really like to read that fic.

(if not, please don't feel uncomfortable... I just try to tempt people to do such things with promises of imaginary cookies, podfic and hand waving, but I don't mean to make anyone uncomfortable, not for a moment :))

Well, I need need need to finish a couple charity fic and a batcave fic and my big bang, but in the future, maybe! I love explorations of moments that canon only briefly touched. And no, that wasn't pressurey at all, don't worry!
