I say it's time for a kink-based friending meme. People often travel across fandom and ship lines for a favorite kink. Talking about kinks is such a fun thing to do. Kinks can be so meaningful, deep, can be fun and simple, can bring so much joy. Why not friend based on that?
I hardly know anybody on LJ (though some of the people I know, I care a lot about).
So unless you spread the word, it's just gonna be me and my kinks. Which isn't that bad, actually. Tell everyone! Copy and paste the code in the box under one of the banners to your journal to spread the word. Below are some banners I made. If anybody feels like making better, more inclusive ones (more fandoms, more kinks, more sorts of people), that'd be cool, let me know and I'll add them to this post.

ETA: Hey, I'm having a thought. I'm really enjoying the conversations here. I feel like opening a kink discussion group. For fun discussion of stuff we like, are curious about, getting inspired by other people's kinks, just all sorts of that.
Perhaps open posting as well as having a specific topic or question to play with every week. Is anyone interested?

Activity in fandom? meta, occasional fiction, reading, enabling, attending conventions
Fandoms: Gosh. Right now the only thing I'm watching is Teen Wolf. I'm also reading in Avengers. But I'm pretty willing to give pretty much anything a go (and I started watching a lot of the shows that are around these days... but broke up with them for various reasons)
Ships/gen: I love anyone getting it one with any other number of other beings or robots or ships or evil inanimate objects. Bring it.
General interests: Intersectionality and social justice
Some favorite kinks: fisting. biting. the sexy kind of hair pulling. punching. kicking. Solid impact play without implements. Okay, so implements are fun, too, but I've really been trending toward play without a toybag the last few years. Okay, so caning is also fun. Repression and artificial constraints where you are voluntarily forcing your own compliance
Non-sexual kinks: what is this non-sexual related land of which you speak? Reading the newspaper can be sexual, if you do it with intent.

What's usually on your journal? Anything. From my grocery list to talking about my neighbors to politics to intimate sexual questions to fanfiction
What do you look for in an LJ friend? I'd like an opt-in filter or cut tags for your angst and insecurity. To which I won't opt in because we just met each other. But you should totally have livejournal as a place to write anything you want.
Anything you'd like to add? I like a bit of playfulness to your approach to fandom. And kink.
